Corestock Recognized with Two Honours at Build the North Conference
Corestock had a lot to celebrate at this year’s Northern Regional Construction Association’s Build the North Conference. We were named Supplier of the Year for the third consecutive year, and our Business Development Manager, Cassie Savage, was honoured with the U40 Person of the Year award.
Supplier of the Year recognizes a supplier that consistently delivers superior products and service, backed by reliability, innovation, and strong industry partnerships. Corestock was founded 28 years ago, built on the back of the forestry and pulp mill sectors. Since then, we’ve grown into mining, oil and gas, and construction, expanding our team, our inventory, and our reach along the way. That growth hasn’t happened by accident, and it hasn’t been easy. It has happened because of the sectors, regions, customers, and communities who gave us a chance when we diversified, who kept supporting us, and who have become part of the Corestock team along the way in ways they may not even realize.
The U40 award honours an emerging leader under 40 who demonstrates innovation, leadership, and a commitment to advancing the construction sector, recognizing qualities like driving projects, inspiring teams, and contributing to the community beyond the workplace. Cassie’s recognition reflects the same values that have shaped Corestock’s growth, and we’re proud to see that leadership recognized on an individual level as well.
We see these awards as belonging to more than just our team here at Corestock. They belong to our vendors, our customers, our industry colleagues, and the communities that have supported us from the beginning. Thank you for continuing to make this possible.
